§         Graduated from Linton HS in 1962

§         Won the Times Union Hearst golf championship for juniors in 1960

§         Finished eighth in the Hearst National Junior Tournament at Riviera CC in California

§         Played golf at Linton HS for Walt Przybylo

§         1960 Linton golf team finished undefeated, winning the Section II title and the New York State championship

§         Captain of the 1961 Linton golf team

§         1961 Linton golf team won the Sectional title (he finished second in the individual competition)

§         Won the New York State Junior championship in 1961

§         Member of the University of Houston golf team (1962-1966)

§         Played on the South African PGA Tour during winter months (1971-1988)

§         Won the New Jersey PGA Bill Strausbaugh/Club Relations and Employment Award four times

§         NJPGA Senior Player of the Year (1994, 1995 and 2002)

§         NJPGA Golf Professional of the Year (1988 and 1995)

§         Won the 1994 and 1995 New Jersey State Golf Association Senior Open

§         Won the 1998 NJPGA Section Pro championship

§         2001 NJPGA Merchandiser of the Year

§         Won the 2002 NJPGA Senior championship

§         Won the 2002 Metropolitan Senior Open (holds tournament record)

§         Montclair State University golf coach (1979-1999)

§         Took five individuals and one team to the NCAA Division III Golf Championship (first team to ever represent Montclair State in the NCAA Championship)

§         Coached four All-Americans

§         Montclair State University Golf Director (2000-2003)

§         NJPGA President (1994-1996)

§         Played in two United States Senior Opens and two Senior PGA Championships

§         Voted by peers and rated by Golf Digest:  second best teacher in NJ (2000)

§         Head golf professional at Crestmont CC (1973-2004)

§         Shares Crestmont CC course record, 65, with Cary Middlecoff

§         Promoted to golf director at Crestmont CC in 2005

§         Inducted into the New jersey PGA Hall of Fame in 2004

§         Northern NJ Chapter National Multiple Sclerosis Society “Supporter of the Decade” (1986)

§         Instrumental in starting the NJ State Golf Association “Hook a Kid on Golf” Caddie Scholarship program

§         Active in the Metopolitan Golf Association Foundation’s “Golfworks” program, which offers employment to financially disadvantaged and minority children

§         Nominated for the Metropolitan Golf Association’s Distinguished Service Award (2007)

§         Has played, coached, administered and promoted golf

§         Many pros consider him to be “the consummate golf professional”
