Students in the Class of 2005 and beyond are required to earn three credits of High School Mathematics and a grade of at least 65% on the NYS Math A or Algebra Regents Exam in order to graduate. Our program hopes to cultivate an interest in Mathematics while preparing students for life beyond high school. All Mathematics courses follow the New York State Syllabus for Mathematics and are aligned with the standards established by the State Education Department.

Students are assigned to Mathematics classes according to skill levels which are determined by the Mathematics teacher, standardized tests and student performance.
