The ACC at Pleasant Valley held two basketball themed events during March Madness.

The school's PBIS committee held a "No Referral Party" for all of the students who made it through the month without receiving a discipline referral.  As an additional reward, the students had the opportunity to watch the Union College Men's Basketball Team and their head coach Bob Montana, demonstrate basketball skills.

A few members of the Pleasant Valley staff took their best shot at playing the team in a half court game.

"The fact that the student athletes from Union's basketball team took the time out of their busy schedules to visit our school was so beneficial for our students, and it was clear that everyone had a fun time participating," said Lisa Dave, art teacher and Positive Behavior Invention and Supports (PBIS) coach.

The hoopsters from Pleasant Valley got together later in the month to hold a fundraiser basketball game to support the PV Players Performing Arts Club.
