Big Crowd for PV Hoop
Game Against Radio Crew
Staff plays to raise money for playground
equipment
 More than 150 students and their families came out to cheer on
the Academy of Culture and Communications staff when they took
on Jamz 96.3 FM in a fundraiser basketball game on March 11.
Money raised from the game will go toward new playground
equipment. While the game was tightly contested, the PV
Penguins pulled out the win.
Joe DiCaprio,
principal of Pleasant Valley thanked Special K and the Jamz 96.3
staff, Mr. Languish for spearheading the event, the ACC at PV
PTO for selling pizza and baked goods and Ms. Hamel, the school
counselor, who called play-by-play throughout the game.
